Sometimes, the real value of a broadcast news producer is the ability to bring all of the compelling elements of a story together in a deadline-driven, highly competitive environment and to insure all of the other team members are on the same page; that they share the ultimate vision of what that story should be.

It’s all in the staging…hours of  setup for a :30 shot on CBS’s NCAA “Selection Sunday” show. We moved the set from what could have been a disastrous atrium back-filled with sun streaming through huge windows to the new Ice Family Practice Center courts with lots of K-State props!
